FISITA Awards exist to recognise engineering excellence within the FISITA international membership community.
The FISITA Medal has been awarded annually since 1970 to an individual engineer, as nominated, selected and recognised by their peers for achievements in automotive and mobility engineering.
The Academy of Technical Leadership was created in 2019 to recognise exceptional leadership within the technology of mobility industry.
The FISITA Medal
The FISITA Medal is recognised within the international FISITA community as a lifetime achievement award, especially valued by recipients for its long history, previous FISITA Medal awardees, and the acknowledgement of the recipient’s peers.
Presented biennially to an individual for distinguished achievements in automotive and mobility systems engineering, the awarding of the FISITA Medal is approved by the FISITA Council on the recommendation of the Medal Committee.
FISITA Academy of Technical Leadership
The FISITA Academy of Technical Leadership was established to create a unique status within the automotive and mobility systems engineering community, acknowledging and recognising outstanding achievers for their commitment and contribution to the technology of mobility.
Selected by the FISITA President and a group of member-leader advisors, the Academy recipients are awarded on an annual basis during the FISITA World Mobility Summit.
