The FISITA Foundation
FISITA has been supporting the international automotive engineering community since 1950, and one area that has remained consistent throughout its existence is the FISITA community’s dedication to supporting young talent and future generations of young mobility engineers.
Initially launched in 2018, the FISITA Foundation is focused on establishing a charitable fund which supports those less privileged and less able to connect, engage, and commence career pathways within the mobility systems industry of today and tomorrow.
Initially, donations to the FISITA Foundation will support less privileged young people through support from the FISITA Travel Bursary to enable them to fulfil work experience opportunities within our industry.
As the Foundation matures and evolves, we look to the Foundation Board of Trustees to develop further ways in which the charitable fund can benefit less privileged young people, in accordance with the FISITA Foundation charitable objectives. Ultimately, our focus will always be to support those less privileged and less able to benefit from experiences and opportunities within our industry.
The FISITA Foundation Board of Trustees plays a key role in FISITA’s corporate governance.
The FISITA Foundation is stand-alone charity registered in the UK.

We have partnered with the Charities Aid Foundation in the USA (CAFA). This enables US donors to make impactful, cost-effective and fully tax-deductible donations to the FISITA Foundation.
Donations are collected by the CAF and forwarded to the FISITA Foundation.
Tax deduction certificates are issued by the CAFA.
