FISITA welcomes StoreDot as a Corporate Member

StoreDot has joined FISITA as a Corporate Member.

Why has StoreDot joined FISITA?

“Joining FISITA represents an exciting opportunity for StoreDot to further contribute to the global mobility ecosystem and accelerate EV adoption. We are happy to promote the vision of a smoother charging experience with our extreme fast charging (XFC) EV cell technology, ‘100inX’, which allows EV drivers to charge their cars in minutes, eliminating charging anxiety.

“We are eager to collaborate with key industry leaders on solutions that benefit the entire ecosystem—bringing tomorrow’s technology to the market today. This partnership underscores our commitment to fostering sustainable transportation through strong ecosystem-wide collaboration.” – Amir Tirosh, Chief Operating Officer, StoreDot

About StoreDot

StoreDot is a leading developer of silicon-dominant extreme fast charging (XFC) EV battery cells, dedicated to revolutionising the electric vehicle (EV) industry. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles by eliminating charging anxiety, making EVs more accessible and convenient for everyone.

At StoreDot, we are committed to pushing the boundaries of energy storage solutions. Breaking the traditional tradeoff paradigm, our proven technology uniquely combines optimal range with extreme fast charging capability. Our flagship technology, branded ‘100inX’, represents our ability to progressively reduce charging times, significantly enhancing the charging rate as our technology evolves. Our current ‘100in5’ battery cells allow the addition of 100 miles (160 km) per 5 minutes of charging. This groundbreaking technology was demonstrated in April 2024, marking the world’s first demonstration of silicon-dominant batteries integrated into an existing drivable EV model, the Polestar 5, using available charging infrastructure and requiring no modifications to the vehicle cooling and peripheral systems.

Emphasising a global and ecosystem-wide collaborative approach, StoreDot has established partnerships with major automotive OEMs such as Volvo, Polestar, Daimler, and VinFast, as well as BP and EVE Energy, reflecting our comprehensive approach to creating a robust and sustainable EV ecosystem. Sustainability is at the core of our operations, as we aim to create eco-friendly solutions that contribute to a greener planet.

Looking ahead, our technical priorities focus on further enhancing charging speeds, expanding our technology’s compatibility with standard lithium-ion production lines, and fostering strong partnerships across the EV ecosystem. Our objective is to make XFC technology a mainstream reality, focusing on a proven technology that can support the industry’s zero-emission targets immediately.
