Meet the A2MAC1 team

Frank Bunte has been the CEO of A2MAC1 – Decode the Future since April 2021. Prior to this, he was the Chief Commercial Officer at A2MAC1 from July 2020 to March 2021.

He brings a wealth of experience from his time at Progress Partners (2016-2020), where he served as Managing Director of Progress Partners Europe and Executive in Residence. Bunte also played a pivotal role at NAUTO (2017-2020), setting up their international operations based out of Dublin, Ireland.

His executive experience includes roles at Swiftpage as a shareholder and Vice President of Global Business Development, and at EASI’R as Chief Revenue Officer and Vice President, Head of Global Sales & Marketing Operations. At SAP, Bunte held several senior leadership positions, including Vice President, Head of SAP Embedded Solutions & OEM Platform Sales MEE, and Vice President, Global Head of SAP Partner Service Portfolio.

Earlier in his career, Bunte held leadership roles at BBK Europe Business Advisory, Robert Bosch GmbH, and Behr Hella Thermocontrol GmbH.

He holds an Engineer’s Degree in Mechanical and Electronic Engineering from Universität Gesamthochschule Paderborn / University of Applied Sciences Südwestfalen.

Arno Zinke is a seasoned product and technology leader with a strong background in digital innovation, software development, and cloud platforms.

Before joining A2MAC1 as CPTO, he served as Hexagon’s SVP of Software Engineering. During his tenure, he led the software transformation of its manufacturing division and successfully designed and launched Nexus, Hexagon’s cloud platform for discrete manufacturing.

Arno has held various product and technology leadership positions at Autodesk, most recently as Chief Platform Architect. He played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s global platform, technology, and partnership strategies.

An entrepreneur at heart, Arno co-founded two innovative startups and has explored a diverse array of technologies, products, and platforms across sectors ranging from media and entertainment to manufacturing and construction. Notably, one of these startups was later acquired by Autodesk.

Arno is also an active startup mentor and investor.

He holds a Ph.D. in computer science, with a deep academic grounding in computer vision, graphics, simulation, and machine learning techniques.
