Carbon Neutral Mobility Expert Group

Mission Statement

To harness the expertise of the FISITA community to strive for net carbon neutrality in transportation by delivering continuous improvement in new vehicle technology, enabling progress to reduce the CO2 footprint of existing vehicles, and identifying other opportunities for carbon reduction across the mobility ecosystem.

Objectives 2024/2025

1. Collaboratively create an authoritative and industry-leading FISITA Working Group white paper on circular economy initiatives within automotive and mobility

2. Deliver a keynote at the FISITA World Mobility Conference in Barcelona, June 2025 presenting the key findings and core messages of the white paper

3. Produce an interim report outlining the work of the WG to date

The FISITA Intelligent Safety White paper is a snapshot in time, a consensus of “how we design intelligent safety” for features from L1 to L3 and L4. It is authored by safety experts within the FISITA membership community, who are responsible for the continuous improvement of safety, thanks to a never-ending appropriation of new technologies and harmonized by standards and regulations.
