Dear colleagues
As 2024 draws to a close, I’d like to take a moment to reflect on another excellent year of progress and the significant successes we achieved throughout the year.
At the start of 2024, we welcomed several new team members, strengthening leadership and the team’s ability to deliver progressively against our new-era strategy.
I’m pleased to report that we’ve made great progress, marked by significant developments in member engagement and the launch of several new initiatives alongside a highly successful programme of events.
In June, we reunited the braking technology community in Mainz, Germany, for another outstanding edition of EuroBrake. In September, we collaborated with China SAE in delivering the Intelligent Safety China Conference 2024, achieving another well-received event for leaders and experts within this significantly important area. Most recently, the team and I travelled to Michigan, where we delivered our most successful FISITA World Mobility Summit to date, with our leadership delegates returning a 99% satisfaction rating, something I have never seen before.
We’ve also welcomed many new Corporate Members to the FISITA community this year, in fact the highest number under my leadership. As always, delivering an exceptional member experience remains our top priority. Looking ahead to 2025, we’re committed to enhancing member benefits further. In addition to the ever-evolving FISITA Connect platform, I’m delighted to announce that all FISITA Members will now receive complimentary tickets to each of our flagship events, including EuroBrake, Intelligent Safety Conference China, the FISITA World Mobility Conference, and the FISITA World Mobility Summit. You can find my and Martin Kahl’s full 2024 update here.
Finally, I’d like to extend my best wishes and happy holidays to you, your colleagues and your families.
Thank you for your continued support and engagement—we look forward to an exciting year ahead!
All the best,
CEO
