FISITA welcomes ACC as a Corporate Member 

Automotive Cells Company (ACC) has joined FISITA as a Corporate Member.  

Why has ACC joined FISITA? 

“ACC, a newcomer in the EV battery cell industry, has made significant strides with its operational gigafactory, secured customer contracts, and a comprehensive organisational structure spanning from Advanced R&D to After Sales. The company is now poised to expand its partnership ecosystem by engaging with key players in the automotive industry through its participation in the FISITA platform.

ACC is committed to collaborating with its new FISITA partners to foster this shared understanding and drive innovation in the sector.”

ACC is set to be the European automotive battery leader. They’re backed by TotalEnergies-Saft, Stellantis, and Mercedes AG, with strong support from European authorities, especially in France, Germany and Italy. From these three countries, ACC will develop and industrialise the next generations of cleaner energy sources for transport through sustainable, affordable, high-capacity, longer-life batteries. 

“As a competitive high-tech company, we’re investing €7 billion in the early stages of our development. Our R&D Excellence Center is up and running in Bruges (Bordeaux, Nouvelle-Aquitaine), along with our state-of-the-art pilot plant in Nersac, France (Angoulême, Nouvelle-Aquitaine). Our first gigafactory in Billy-Berclau Douvrin, Hauts-de-France, the first one in France, was inaugurated in May 2023 and started producing in large series. Then over the next few years we will further reinforce our innovation and production capacities with a second gigafactory planned in Germany, in Kaiserslautern, and a third gigafactory in Termoli, in Italy. We’ve already established a global network of R&D associates, along with industrial partners and suppliers.”
