Cognitive Mobility (CogMob) investigates the entangled combination of the research areas such as mobility, transportation, vehicle engineering, social sciences, artificial intelligence, cognitive infocommunications. The key aim of CogMob is to provide a holistic view of how mobility in a broader aspect can be understood, described (modelled), and optimised as the blended combination of artificial and natural/human cognitive systems. It considers the whole combination as one inseparable CogMob system and investigates what kind of new cognitive capabilities of this CogMob system are emerging.
One of the CogMob focus areas, based on its nature, is the engineering applications in the mobility domain.
The Women Automotive Summit Europe, scheduled for October 8, 2024, in Stuttgart, Germany, is a key event dedicated to fostering diversity and inclusion within the automotive industry.

The China SAE Congress & Exhibition (SAECCE) has been successfully held for 30 sessions. With the entire industry’s strong support, the SAECCE’s influence has been continuously enhanced. Since 1981, the Asia Pacific Automotive Engineering Conference has been held biennially with the 22nd edition in 2024. The event will share a breadth of information and is dedicated to the development and future of the mobility industry. Automotive experts from around the world will be able to interact with the latest technologies, innovative products, direction of future development etc. related to automotive fields such as customer, society, and the automotive industry.

FAST_zero’25: Future Active Safety Technology toward Zero Traffic Accidents is an international conference focused on advancing active safety technologies to eliminate traffic accidents. Taking place from 23 to 26 September 2025 at the Palais des Congrès d’Arles, France, the event is organised by Gustave Eiffel University in association with the Japan Society of Automotive Engineers.
The conference attracts hundreds of delegates, including major OEM brands, Tier 1 and 2 suppliers, and technology innovators, with a predominantly academic and industry audience. FAST_zero’25 will explore themes in active safety systems, driver characteristics, human factors, and testing methods, with all sessions conducted in English.
